Needle
Conan's phoenix friend calls him "big dumb barbarian." That doesn't sound nice, but Needle is actually Conan's closest companion. He's a goofy young bird who practically lives on Conan's shield, since his magical tail feathers let him transform into a phoenix design on any surface. Just don't ask him to pretend he's a parrot. That really bugs him!
