"Pound Puppies" returns for a second season on The Hub Television Network, a destination for kids and their families, Saturday, June 2, 9am ET. The "pup-ular" half-hour series produced by Hasbro Studios follows a gang of heartwarming animal shelter dogs dedicated to finding loving homes for their fellow pets. Their motto: "A pup for every person and a person for every pup!" These seemingly average dogs keep the humans running Shelter 17 in the dark while they help "dog-kind" find loving families.
 
In the second season, new pups-in-training, Rebound, Cupcake and Patches who form the Super Secret Pup Club, join the Pound Puppies on wild adventures helping dogs everywhere find their perfect person. In the season opener, Squirt reveals his secret past as a champion flying disc-catching dog and pledges to train the newest puppy Zipper (guest star Tara Strong, voice of Twilight Sparkle from "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic") with the best of his airborne moves.

The series features the vocal talents of Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace"), Yvette Nicole Brown ("Community"), Betty White ("Hot in Cleveland"), Michael Rapaport ("Prison Break"), John DiMaggio ("Futurama," "Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters") and Alanna Ubach ("Legally Blonde").
 
"Pound Puppies" has consistently been one of The Hub TV Network’s best performers and is one of the network’s top-rated series with Kids 2-11.
