PROGRAMMING CONTINUES TO DRIVE AUDIENCE GAINS
"Heroes Marathon," "Janu-Scary," "Year of the Dragon Spike-a-Thon"
LOS ANGELES – The Hub, a television network for kids and their families, continued its momentum with year-to-year audience growth for the week of January 16-22, driven by the strong performance of its special event programming – a "Heroes Marathon", featuring episodes of "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Transformers Prime"; a "Janu-Scary" marathon of "Goosebumps" and "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series"; and a "Year of the Dragon Spike-a-Thon" marathon of episodes of "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic."
For the week, The Hub again delivered year-over-year gains among key demographics both in Total Day and in Prime Time (Monday-Sunday, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET).
Daypart Performance (all times ET)
- In Total Day, TheHub delivered year-to-year gains among Kids 6-11 (+6%, 17,000), Kids 2-11 (+28%, 37,000), Women 18-49 (+7%, 15,000), Adults 18-49 (+12%, 29,000),Persons 2+ (+20%, 84,000) and Households (+22%, 60,000).
- In Prime (Monday– Sunday, 8P-11P ET), The Hub delivered year-to-year gains among Kids 6-11 (+37%, 26,000), Kids 2-11 (+38%, 36,000), Persons 2+ (+5%, 107,000) and Households (+3%, 69,000).
Programming Highlights (all times ET)
- The Hub's "Heroes Marathon" (Monday, 2 p.m.- 8 p.m.), featuring "Batman: The Animated Series" (2 p.m. – 5 p.m.) and "Transformers Prime" (5 p.m.-8 p.m.) earned strong year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+47%, 28,000), Kids 2-11 (+156%, 82,000), Women 18-49 (+380%, 24,000), Adults 18-49 (+563%, 53,000), Persons 2+ (+152%, 154,000) and Households (+155%, 120,000).
- The Hub's "Janu-Scary!" programming event (Friday, 10 p.m.-1 a.m.), featuring episodes of "Goosebumps" and "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour" earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+18%, 46,000), Kids 2-11 (+16%, 57,000) and Persons 2+ (+4%, 141,000).
- The Hub's "Year of the Dragon Spike-a-Thon" marathon of "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" episodes (Sunday, 8 a.m-10 a.m.) delivered year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+60%, 40,000), Kids 2-11 (+42%, 102,000), Women 18-49 (+167%, 24,000), Adults 18-49 (+145%, 27,000), Persons 2+ (+60%, 139,000) and Households (+60%, 80,000).
- "Dan Vs." (Saturday, 8P ET) tallied year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+33%, 28,000), Kids 2-11 (+64%, 36,000), Women 18-49 (+75%, 14,000), Adults 18-49 (+67%, 20,000), Persons 2+ (+22%, 73,000) and Households (+27%, 61,000). · "Family Game Night" (Sunday, 7P ET) tallied year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+7%, 45,000) and Kids 2-11 (+40%, 60,000).
